Seth, this is such a great study! Frigga of course in addition to being the personification of Wisdom is also the patroness of motherly love and sorrow… so it’s really very cool that you have her cuddling, of all her kids, dear little Hod! Sort of a sweet little bit of sad foreshadowing, but in a good way… *grin* I love the looks on the kids’ faces: Thor kinda hopeful that Dad’s lady will like him… Hermod (typical…) multi-tasking and already heading swiftly toward his Next Big Adventure… and Balder looking… uhh… clueless. *grins* Hod just looks happy… and that is very nice, considering the sorrow of his story! The way he’s cuddling toward her, while she has her hand cupped protectively under him–with his hand over her heart–is just… so… perfect!! Thanks for sharing it!
