Land of the Living Dead… Website
|
Figures. As soon as I get the headline grabbing code for the Pulse fixed, the site goes down. Well, it didn’t really go down… it was some weird situation where the whole hosting facility went offline. But it’s better now. I hope. In other news… • I didn’t get to much of the other coding I’d planned on because well, it was on the server at the time. Plus, it looks like all my email is finally trickling in, so I’m catching up on that (if you’ve sent me an email in the past few days and haven’t heard a response, it’s because I’m just now getting through them all). • The Webcomic Hurricane Relief Telethon. I’m helping spread the word… if you’re a webcomic person and want to pitch in, the contact information is there at the site. I’ll probably put something together for it. Seth wants to do something for it, but his schedule has been tight lately. So I might have to dust off my rusty 10+ year old cartooning skills to draw it up (maybe Seth can plot it out ^_^). Some readers might hurt themselves viewing my artwork with this venture, but I think it’s worth the risk. • Threnodaemis rocks! No, literally. Why do I point this out to you? Well, he’s an old military buddy of mine, and since this sounds like the last time he’ll be performing with Steel, I thought I’d pass the word around a little. So, if you’re in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia, hop on over to Hoss’s Saturday night and have a little listen. • Smile of the Day: Satanic tomato. • Science fun! The amazing brainwashing hairworm. Parasitic worms that brainwash grasshoppers and make them commit suicide. Another old story of mine becomes reality (except my story had worms infesting humans and making them commit suicide, so they could gain control of their bodies… one of my youthful attempts at a zombie story). “Snatch the pebble from my hand, Grasshoppa. Unless the worms have made it to your brain pushing you to leap to your death. Just make sure you jump from the South wall of the monastery, so the stench from your rotting corpse is downwind from us.” |
