 hey. it's been a bit since my last update, so i thought i show a little of what has been "keeping me busy"... it's rough page layouts for a story that i've had spinning in my head for awhile. a detective story involving the strange and scary. kind an x-files "thing". it's something i've always wanted to do, but never made time to flesh it out. hopefully this little exercise will help with that. i'm also trying to evolve my style a little bit for this one. it'll still be simplified, but i'm hoping to get more "realistic" than i have in the past. i don't want to go with super realism, 'cos i just don't like that. i've always thought that if you want to see something that looks photorealistic, take an effing picture. anyway, these first 9 pages are an attempt at setting up the story and characters, if it's a little hard to make out it's because these 9 pages were layed out on one 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of computer paper. blah, blah, blah. s. |

 a friend of mine over at the image forums asked a bunch of us artist types to draw up a version of her character "Editor Girl"...basically just for shits and giggles. i think this is my 3rd attempt at it. i just can't seem to make myself happy. oh well. i'll talk at ya later. s. |
