 some of the first comics i was ever intoduced to were Guardians of the Galaxy by none other than Jim Vanlentino. i've always been a space epic geek, and have recently been revisiting those old issues trying to reimagine those characters. maybe someday Marvel will hire me and let me have creative reign over these wonder characters... and maybe Silver Surfer too....:) that's it for today. -d |

 i'm not entirely sure where this idea came from, but as i kept sketching and jotting notes down it got more and more interesting to me. maybe i'll flesh some of these ideas out someday. for now, it's just a silly sketch. |

     hey again. i thought i would update with some oldish stuff to get some people caught up. if you've already seen it, sorry. don't worry, new art is on the way. i just have to scan it in. the cloak and dagger was colored by the very talented Mauricet. and the Hellboy was colored by the the man, Howard Wong. thanks again guys. -d |

  these are sketches of two charaters created by my friend and writer Jeff Stevenson (of Scrypic Studios and Task Force One fame) they are going to be the main charaters for a new webcomic Jeff and I will be starting up after the first of the year... so you're all getting in on the ground floor with this one. there will probably be plenty more of these two around here as the stories develop. happy turkey day. |

This is going to be a kind of "sketch" blog, where I'm going to post sketches, ideas, and finished
