New Fantastic Four Trailer

Thanks to Greg over at SciFiDaily, I saw this link to the new Fantastic Four trailer (it’s tiny, but if you’re used to staring at cell phone screens…no problem). “That’s gross.” hehe

Writer’s Guild of America…dividing lines

For those people out there that have looking into screenwriting, you’ve probably heard about the Writer’s Guild…both of them. The Guild is divided West and East, and if you’ve seen those classic comedy routines where they draw a line down the middle of the room, you’ll get an idea what kind of tension there might be. Mark Evanier posted an insightful rundown of the conflict between these two guilds in his blog.

Tinkering Around with the Site…

Some of you may have noticed a few changes around the site. Like those quick links to the individual articles on this page of the blog (it’s also on every page of the archives…at least all the pages after I set up titles for the Blogger.com posts. I also added some extras:

In the articles section, I added an archive of some of my old Education Rebellion posts. For those that don’t know, the Education Rebellion originally started as a counter-blog to a group blog called Stupidity Reigns (started by a good friend of mine). Stupidity Reigns kind of died off, so I started adding some educational posts on my own (but then my writing workload caught up with me, and I had to put it on hold). So, now that some of the prior ones are archived, what does that mean? It means I’ll be resuming it. Probably not every day, but I’ll do my best to sneak in a couple here and there.

Next addition…Tandramir Tales is now in the prose section. Tandramir is a city created by Kep! and me as part of the Circles of Power magical steampunk fantasy comic we were developing for Studio ICE. We thought it would be neat to do a back-and-forth short story featuring our main character in his days prior to the adventures in the comic, so I posted part one at the Studio ICE message boards. Then, Kep! got super busy working on a bunch of projects like Genie and Shadowhawk. So, we decided to let me just run with it based on the plot we both hashed out. Then my workload picked up… then the Studio ICE message boards mysteriously vanished. And now, part one is up on the site…with part two going up next week as the kick-off to an ongoing serialized story.

There ya have it. New stuff to explore with more to come.

Brat-halla #68

This week, Hod gets paired up with the friskiest of Valkyries. Check out what kind of torture Jeffery Stevenson and Seth Damoose dish out to this blind, little god of darkness and poetry.

Spook’d #17

The final piece of the Monster League documentary. This week, we pay a visit to Alastor in the hospital, but he’s in for a bit of a surprise (and we’re not just talking medical bill surprise).
