Changes and… Bob the Battleship
|
As some people might have noticed, the layouts for my webpages changed a little bit. Those changes are there to accomodate some new content for the site…I’m actually making progress on it this time. And now for some quick news… Bob the Battleship hit stores recently as part of Digital Webbing Presents #10, which also contains a prequel to Image’s Sword of Dracula comic by fellow Austin writer, Jason Henderson. Bob scored 9/10 in a review over at MediaSharx. “This story spoofs everything in our pop culture, from children’s TV to celebrity scandals to the wretchedness of pop music!” — MediaSharx Well, not quite everything…I couldn’t fit in any scenes with motorcycle-riding, kickboxing, surfing, extreme lingerie models…or industry-crumbling download pirates–ARRRR! Maybe I’ll get to those in a future story. Speaking of future stories, if you read the story in issue #10 and would like to see more of that cute, cuddly battleship, send me an email and let me know! More news on the Arazel & Xarenia screenplay. My entry for the Austin Film Festival made it to the “distinguished” second round (approximately the top ten percent out of 4000 entries). I’ll have some sample artwork soon from the Arazel & Xarenia comic that’s in development…keep an eye out for it! |
