sketchy business…



i thought i should throw this up here as well...i drew this up as a "break" last night...
the first issue is coming along nicely, i've got pages 1-13 done along with the cover, and up to page 8 is already colored up
real purdy by Kanilla Tripp. as soon as i get the ok to post up some preview pages, i will. i'll also update with the previews order codes as soon as i can get them.

I Hate Galaxy Girl


...that's the name of the comic from Images Shadowline, that I'm working on. I'll have order codes for previews when they're available next month. Issue 1 will be on the shelf November 12. It's slated to be a 3 issue series, unless sales are so good we can
keep going. The story is written and created by Kat Cahill, a wonderfully talented
young woman whom I'm thrilled to be working with. Kanilla Tripp is providing the colors, and Jason Hanley is lettering...I couldn't be in better company for my full issue(s) debut. The above sketch is our main character Renee. I'll throw up some
sample pages when it's ok to do so....stay tuned true believers, the show's just getting started...

Phrases to Taunt the Universe

You might have been there before. A situation where you needed to trust someone else to keep you from dying or worse. You’re already a bit nervous about putting your life in another person’s hands when you hear that dreaded phrase. “Trust me.” They just had to go use one of those universal taunts, and as you can imagine, the universe doesn’t like getting called out like that.

But that isn’t the only phrase that’ll rub the universe the wrong way. You have such classics as “At least things can’t get worse.” and “This plan is foolproof.” These phrases will put you on the universe’s radar, and when you’re in its sight, BAM!

So… just be careful what you say. The universe is listening.
